FAQ
WHAT DOLLS FIT ENDANGERED SISSY CLOTHES?
ES clothes are made specifically to fit Kenner, Takara and Licca bodies. Many will also fit vintage Wataru dolls. Each style is unique regarding what other bodies it fits, and a fit guide is included on each listing listing the particular bodies that design will fit.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP & HOW MUCH DOES IS COST?
We ship (almost) worldwide and are pleased to offer flat rate shipping no matter how many doll clothes you order! Additional, non-doll clothes items are not included in flat rate shipping, and shipping will be calculated at check-out based on weight and destination. We only offer tracked shipping options outside of Canada for everyone's peace of mind.
Unfortunately, we do not currently ship to EU countries due to the time and expense required to meet all of the GPSR requirements as a very small business.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU SHIP?
Currently, all packages ship twice a week via Canada Post or USPS.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY PACKAGE TO ARRIVE?
It depends where you live. Typically, packages travelling within Canada take 5-7 business days to arrive after the items have been shipped.
To the USA, the average is 7-10 business days after shipping; UK, 10-14 business days; Asia: 14-21 business days; Australia/New Zealand, 14-21 business days.
WILL I BE CHARGED DUTY/TAX ON MY PURCHASE?
Canadians will not be, nor will Americans.
Buyers from other countries may be charged duty, tax or both. Please consult your country's guidelines regarding this matter, as every place is different.
We are not responsible for any tax or duty your country may impose.
DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?
No refunds/returns accepted except if the item received is significantly different than described in the listing and the item is returned.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept all forms of payment that Shopify allows, including PayPal.
DO YOU TAKE CUSTOM ORDERS?
No
WILL YOU HOLD ITEMS?
No
WHAT HAVE PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS THOUGHT ABOUT YOUR PRODUCTS?
Before opening this standalone shop, thousands of Endangered Sissy items were sold on Etsy. You can read reviews and comments here.
IF I SEE SOMETHING I LIKE FROM YOUR BACK CATALOGUE, WILL YOU MAKE IT FOR ME?
Sorry, no. We do sometimes restock popular styles, so keep an eye on our Instagram for what's coming up and/or subscribe to our newsletter.
DO YOU HAVE SALES?
Yes! A few times per year we have a clearance sale. Subscribe to our newsletter to get all the details when sale time rolls around.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU HAVE UPDATES AND HOW CAN I FIND OUT ABOUT THEM?
I do not have a set schedule for updates, but announce specific dates/times on my Instagram (@endangeredsissy). You can also subscribe to the Endangered Sissy newsletter for all the details on upcoming collections.
ARE YOUR DOLLS FOR SALE?
No, only their clothes and occasionally accessories. Please read the description of the item you are interested in carefully so you know what you're getting.
WHERE CAN I BUY A BLYTHE DOLL?
Legitimate dolls can be purchased through Junie Moon, CC-Toys, and Hobby Link Japan. They can also be found on the secondary market on eBay, Facebook groups, etc. There are also a lot of fake dolls, so if you are looking for an authentic release you may want to buy from official sellers like the ones mentioned.
WHY IS THE PRINT ON THE ITEM I BOUGHT IN A DIFFERENT PLACE THAN THE ONE IN THE PHOTO?
We use a lot of print and often make multiples of a style at Endangered Sissy, so just like human clothes, print placement will vary on each piece produced.
WHERE DO YOU GET ALL THOSE ACCESSORIES FOR YOUR DOLLS?
All sorts of places: eBay, Etsy, garage sales. Most of the boots the dolly models wear are vintage Barbie or Barbie clone go-go boots from the sixties and seventies. You can often find them for sale in lots online.
Some glasses are stock (from a specific doll), others are discontinued styles from BHC, Atelier Matin or Takara accessories packs that are (sadly) no longer available, but can sometimes be found on the secondary market.
WHAT'S UP WITH YOUR SHOP NAME?
The name Endangered Sissy came from my daughter. When she was a little girl and learning to read, she misread a slogan on a T-shirt, thinking it said Endangered Sissy. I wrote this down and years later when it came to starting a shop, I remembered the name and thought it was somehow perfect for this project.
